Rose Ryan, R.Ac

Rose has been drawn to health and wellness from a young age, with a natural curiosity for holistic and integrative approaches to care. Her introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) came through a family friend, and years later, her own experience seeking acupuncture for a chronic condition deepened that interest.

Through this experience, Rose connected with TCM’s comprehensive approach—honouring the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit—and felt a clear alignment with its philosophy. She went on to study at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCM) in Vancouver, completing the five-year Doctor of TCM program and developing a deep respect for the body’s innate capacity to restore balance and health.

Rose primarily practices distal-style acupuncture, drawing from the traditions of Dr. Richard Teh-Fu Tan and Master Tung. Her work supports a wide range of concerns, including musculoskeletal, digestive, gynecological, and hormonal conditions. She also focuses on regulating the nervous system, supporting emotional well-being, reducing stress, and improving sleep.

Her approach is rooted in helping patients enhance their quality of life while feeling empowered through the practical and sustainable lifestyle principles that TCM offers.

Outside of the clinic, Rose enjoys spending time in nature with her family, getting lost in a good book, and experimenting with new recipes.
